On the third Sunday of each month at 6:30P join
us for "Sixty Minutes of World Peace" and
radiate peace, love, and care to our world...
World Meditation Hour began in 1978 and invites people from all over the world to collectively meditate for world peace. This practice has become a very popular one and has spread to over 90 countries around the world, attracting over a half a million people.
Meditation for World Peace provides you with the opportunity to join other groups around the world as they meditate on bringing about world peace. The focus of this experience is that the way to world peace is by individuals finding peace within.
About the Brahma Kumaris:
From its modest beginnings, the Brahma Kumaris organization keeps progressing in leaps and bounds and now has about 7,000 meditation centers in 90 countries. Madhuban serves as the nucleus of the Brahma Kumaris' centers worldwide and Mt. Abu, 'the Father's mountain' is regarded as a pilgrimage place by many who are in search of spiritual rejuvenation. Together they attract over a quarter of a million individuals from all ethnic and religious backgrounds every year. From classes in the stables, the organization has come a long way and has just inaugurated 'The Academy for a Better World' as part of the celebration of its 60th anniversary. This Academy is a place of international endeavor -- a place where men, women and children can reach their unique human potential and cultivate the values of our common humanity.
